Configure Telstra Calling for Microsoft Teams

Telstra Calling for Microsoft Teams integration with LawMaster allows users to make telephone calls from LawMaster through Microsoft Teams. Configuration requires that the: 

  • Customer is: 
    • Subscribed to Telstra Calling for Microsoft Teams 
    • Licensed for the LawMaster Telephony module.
  • User has: 
    • A direct telephone line 
    • A fully installed version of Microsoft Teams installed on their PC 
    • Telstra Calling for Microsoft Teams enabled.


 

To configure Telstra Calling for Microsoft Teams integration: 

  1. For each user wanting to use Telstra Calling for Microsoft Teams through LawMaster, from Client Service Centre > Other Downloads, download TeamsCallingFromLawMaster.exe. 
  2. Extract the TeamsCallingfromLawMaster.cmd configuration file from the download and save the file to C:\LawMasterV10Installs\ on the user's computer.
  3. In LawMaster, edit the 00-IP and 00-TELEPHONYparameters: 
    1. Select Parameters > Set Parameters > Miscellaneous, and then double-click Maintain type '00' parameters directly. 
    2. Right-click IP, and then select Modify
    3. In Details, enter <<P>>/p<<PHONE> NO>><<M>>/a<<MATTER NO>> 
    4. In par_details_1, enter C:\LawMasterV10Installs\TeamsCallingfromLawMaster.cmd


    5. Select OK
    6. Right-click TELEPHONY, and then select Modify
    7. In par_details_1, enter IP


    8. Select OK.
